Horn Book Review

AddyÆs relief over the end of the Civil War is cut short by news of President LincolnÆs assassination. Illustrated with color artwork and packaged as a hand-sized hardcover, this formulaic book suffers from generic characterizations and unnatural-sounding dialgue. Factual information and a quiz about Lincoln's life are appended. Bib. From HORN BOOK Fall 2002, (c) Copyright 2010. The Horn Book, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Media Source, Inc.
