Horn Book Review
Intended for reluctant readers, these comic-book biographies convey the basic accomplishments of their subjects. Krohn adequately presents the controversial and groundbreaking nature of Goodall's work studying animal behavior. Olson covers the racial tensions and hurdles Carver faced but only briefly describes the value of his contributions. Both titles suffer from dated art, slapdash layouts, and redundancies.
