Gr 3-6-Ben and his friends continue their quest to save their school from being bulldozed by greedy developers in the third book (Atheneum, 2012) in the series by Andrew Clements. It picks up after the death of the janitor who has been replaced by a corporate spy planted by the company that hopes to replace the school with an amusement park. Ben, Jill, and Robert use the clues they previously found to discover a token which yields a potentially game-changing amount of money held in a trust that is now at their disposal. They also uncover a historically significant room that used to be part of the Underground Railroad. The amateur spy gang displays impressive skills for a group so young.
