Gr 3-6-Identical twins Edgar and Allan Poe are the great-great-great-great grandnephews of the famous poet. Here they travel from Baltimore to New Orleans to play a role in a film about their famous ancestor. While in New Orleans, they befriend another set of twins-Em and Milly Dickinson-who have a famous ancestor of their own. After meeting a pair of ghosts who were murdered in 1814, the two sets of twins make it their mission to expose the killer so their new friends can pass on. The Poe twins must also rescue their kidnapped cat, Roderick Usher, and outsmart the daughter of their nemesis from book one. Arte Johnson does an excellent job narrating, perfectly capturing the mischievous twins' spirits.
