*Starred Review* The latest in Buchman's Delta Force series, following Target Engaged (2015), features Melissa Moore, the second woman to survive Delta training, and Richie Goldman, a geek-warrior whose intelligence becomes seriously muddled around women, though he falls for Melissa the minute she joins his team. Melissa and Richie, who both speak Spanish, are paired as the only two with flight experience, since the team is assigned to masquerade as drug runners in an attempt to discover and destroy South American cocaine production, and pilots are needed. Melissa's ability to read people and her inherent leadership skills not only make her invaluable to her new team but also help her understand, finally, that loving Richie is inevitable. Add to that the fact that Richie personifies the kind of man that a strong woman deserves, as Buchman's growing legion of readers will no doubt attest. With one of the best endings found in Buchman's books, two of the most engaging characters, and a dramatic aerial assault, this high-action romance has everything, and it's a one-sitting read for sure.--Chelton, Mary K.
