School Library Journal Review
PreS-Gr 1-Young Amelia Bedelia is participating in her class bake sale, and almost everyone has brought brownies. What will they do? Amelia Bedelia comes up with a wonderful plan to help sell all the treats using clever plays on words. The kids learn how to have their cake and eat it, too. The vocabulary is basic, and the art provides plenty of sight clues. VERDICT A serviceable easy reader about a sure-to-please subject for fans of the series.-Melisa Bailey, Harford County Library System, MD © Copyright 2016.
