PreS-K-In this collection of eight school-themed stories, Daniel Tiger and his friends have fun learning and using their imaginations. These tales build on Fred Rogers's original characters, and Daniel Tiger speaks directly to viewers, drawing them in to the stories and the neighborhood. Each 14-minute episode includes music and songs, a segment about making believe, and a clip featuring real children modeling and reinforcing Daniel's lessons. In "A Trip to the Crayon Factory," Daniel and his friends get a firsthand look at how crayons are made. An additional segment takes viewers to a real-life crayon factory, and they get to see the machines, molds, wax, and boxes that are used to produce and ship crayons to schools and stores. Daniel and his friends harvest vegetables in the school garden in "Be a Vegetable Taster." They learn to try new foods, since they might taste good, and a live-action scene at the end of the episode spotlights students visiting a community garden. Additional episodes focus on topics such as problem solving, playing pretend, taking a vote, and learning how to stay safe.
