PreS-Simple stories for fans of the busy mouse. In the first book, Maisy's friend Charley helps her tidy up her house and is rewarded with a cupcake, while in the second, Maisy learns just how much is needed to quench the thirst of an elephant. In both titles the bright, colorful illustrations face a page of large-print text. Delightful books that will help reinforce the concepts of helping and sharing.-Wendy S. In [cf2]Lemonade,[cf1] Eddie the elephant drinks all of MaisyÆs lemonade, inspiring her to make a fresh batch--with EddieÆs assistance. Thanks to CousinsÆs light touch, both books manage to promote helpfulness and hard work without lecturing. The boldly colored illustrations will appeal to preschoolers.
