Summary
The New York Times bestselling author of the "enthralling thriller"* Vision Impossible is back with her newest Psychic Eye mystery, in which psychic Abigail Cooper must rely on her inner vision to search for a missing woman...
When a mysterious client approaches Abby with a cryptic message about a young mother who has vanished, Abby is more than willing to get involved. After all, it's the perfect distraction from dealing with the headache of her sister Cat - who has flown into town and turned Abby and Dutch's impending nuptials into Weddingpalooza.
After Abby recruits her business partner and BFF, Candice, to assist, they meet with the parents of the missing woman. But the parents refuse to put their faith in a psychic. What's worse, due to a grave misunderstanding, the family suspects Abby has a connection to their daughter's husband - the man they believe to be responsible for her disappearance.
So while the family may be blind to the truth, with a potential killer in her sights, Abby is determined to keep her eyes wide open...

Publisher's Weekly Review
In Laurie's enjoyable 10th Psychic Eye mystery (after 2011's Vision Impossible), a visit from a disguised, terrified female attorney distracts Austin, Tex., psychic investigator Abby Cooper from the dismay she feels on realizing that her FBI agent fiance, Dutch Rivers, thinks a gun makes a great engagement gift. Soon Abby and PI Candice Fusco, her best friend and business partner, are trying to unearth the truth about the disappearance of young mother Kendra Moreno, which Abby's paranormal abilities tell her was an abduction and murder. The romance between Abby and Dutch continues to fall flat, but the connections of supportive friendship, effective teamwork, and tough love between Abby and Candice come through with sparkle and warmth. Abby works much better in this smaller, more female-centered plot than she does being sucked into big FBI gigs, and seeing her daily life as a psychic for hire adds depth to her character. Kirkus Review
Further adventures of a psychic private investigator as she pursues her life's goals of solving mysteries and keeping her money out of the swear jar. Abby Cooper is the most successful psychic private investigator in town, although technically she's the only one in town. She and her closest friend and business partner Candice Fusco imagine they've built a reputation for themselves over the years. Although local law enforcement is more than a little dubious of Abby's job description, they're willing to cooperate with Candice because of her more feminine charms. The pair need help from the local law when a mysterious Ms. Smith contacts Abby in order to secure her help with a client who's retained her law services. Abby's more than game to help, but the elusive Ms. Smith refuses to disclose her client's name or even describe the case. Abby and Candice figure the client must be the husband of Kendra Moreno. The high-profile case of the woman who mysteriously disappeared and left her young son alone in the house has been splashed all over the news. Unfortunately, when Abby starts to investigate, it seems as though she's not the only one with an eye on the case. Lucky for Abby, her fianc, Dutch Rivers, makes it his mission to protect her. But can he save her from what may be the biggest threat of all: the wedding-planning attentions of her sister, Cat? Laurie's latest in the series (Vision Impossible, 2011, etc.) brings Abby back to her circle of friends. Fans will cheer her fast-talking return.]] Copyright Kirkus Reviews, used with permission.
