Summary:
Detective Mark McPherson is hired to find the murderer of a Park Avenue society beauty. As he tries to get inside the head of the victim, Laura Hunt, he also questions the men in her life - the acerbic critic Waldo Lydecker and playboy fiance Shelby Carpenter.
