Booklist Review
When a film production comes to town, Kirsty and her friend Rachel are excited to participate as extras in The Starlight Chronicles. However, when they see goblins lurking about on the set, they know trouble is not far behind. When a goblin steals a script, Keira, the movie magic fairy, implores the girls to help her get it back. The silver script ensures that the actors will know their lines, just like the magic megaphone helps the director, and the enchanted clapboard helps get the cameras rolling. Kirsty and Rachel help Keira retrieve these charms from Jack Frost, the goblin king, who seeks to make his own wicked movie. All titles in the popular Rainbow Magic special edition series bind three brand-new short chapter books into one volume to maximize the fairy goodness. All the books feature simple black-and-white spot art. For those ready to explore the next fun fairy adventure, Meadows' Addison, the April Fool's Day Fairy (2014) is also available.--Jones, Courtney Copyright 2014 Booklist
