Horn Book Review

Self-anointed junior psychiatrist Lucy has met her match in the lonely Charlie Brown, to whom she doles out patently unhelpful advice, such as to stop slouching and to take dance lessons. The book is ill-conceived: Schulz's comics weren't meant to have running narration, and the imposed jokes--Who do you think [cf2]I[cf1] am? Snoopy wondered. Kermit the Frog?--consistently whiff.
