Summary
A trained medical doctor and a practitioner of traditional Chinese medicine, Zhi Gang Sha was named Qigong Master of the Year and received the Martin Luther King, Jr., Commemorative Commission Award. Zhi Gang Sha was born in China's Shaanxi province and became interested in healing during childhood. He received a doctorate in Western medicine from Xi'an Jiaotong University and is certified in acupuncture and moxibustion. Sha was named Qigong Master of the Year in 2002 at the Fifth World Congress on Qigong in San Francisco.
He has written several books, including Sha's Golden Healing Ball, Power Healing, Soul Mind Body Medicine, Living Divine Relationships, Soul Communication and Divine Heling Hands. Per his personal website, Sha's stated mission is "to transform the consciousness of humanity and souls in the universe to create a peaceful and harmonized world and universe".
His title Tao II made the New York Times Bestseller List for 2010.
